The Great Get Together 2019
The Great Get Together 2019Jennie and Simon bond have asked us to sing at their local Great Get-Together event again, held in homour of Jo Cox. This year Jennie and Simon's local event at Leigh and Bransford Memorial Hall is on Sunday 23rd June 2019, 12 noon until 5pm. The Community Choir, scheduled for 2.30pm, is one of several groups providing entertainment. We're hoping for better weather than last year!
In her first speech to parliament, murdered MP Jo Cox said: 'We are far more united and have far more in common than that which divides us' - words which continue to have great resonance in these troubled times.
