Christmas at the Hall

Christmas at the Hall

Please convey our thanks to the choir for their lovely singing at the Village Hall.  We so appreciated their efforts and it was a pleasure to meet them all. - Carol and Steve Boughton

On Saturday 2 December 2017 we provided the music for a fun evening of carols, festive readings, quizzes, videos, a raffle, stalls, mince pies and wine at Suckley Village Hall, organised by Carol and Steve Boughton, who very kindly provided a light meal for choir members between our rehearsal and the start of the event.

This was a new venture for the Community Choir, and it was very successful and enjoyable. Nathanael Newitt sang a solo, accompanying himself on the guitar, and four members of the choir sang one carol as a quartet. Our accompanist Lucas Ball played two solo piano pieces with a Christmas feel, very beautifully. There were various other mini solos from choir members, especially in The Twelve Days of Christmas and In the Bleak Mid-winter.

The proceeds were divided between the County Air Ambulance and Suckley Village Hall.
